A true follower of Christ fully accepts his authority and decides to follow him and on his mission to disciple the lost world, and deny all and even his own life (Luke 14:26). A disciple carries his own cross, willing to lay down his own life if called upon (Luke 14:27). A true disciple will continue in the word as you will know the truth and be made free by the knowledge of the word (John 8:31). A true disciple is continually filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. A disciple is a pupil willing to adhere to the teachings of another, as Christ approached the chosen disciples, he asked them were they willing to follow him and to be made fishers of men, when they excepted, they were willing to count the cost. The disciples trusted Christ for salvation and they surrendered completely for him to transform their lives to adhere to the will of Christ and to learn to make disciples of men.

We will talk about how to build a healthy church and how important it is in discipleship, in relation to the many systems that there are for a healthy church. We will discuss the areas of focus when creating a healthy church, starting from the local church, to the pastor, to the community, and to the responsibility of the leadership to make sure that all new believers are being exposed to spiritual growth and maturity through teaching of the leadership. We will discuss that In order to help the church grow healthier we must consider this format of the body of Christ being the church body, as the scriptures state of the importance of maintaining the spiritual body we must maintain it as we should the physical body, and The church needs to be intentional about helping baby Christians grow and mature into fully developed followers of Christ, the job of the church is to pursue and make mature believers home and abroad, which is God’s plan for a growing body of Christ.

A true follower of Christ fully accepts his authority as the head, and decides to follow him and on his mission to disciple the lost world, and denying all and even his own life, (Luke 14:26). A disciple carries his own cross, willing to lay down his own life if called upon (Luke 14:27). A true disciple will continue in the word, as you will know the truth and be made free by the knowledge of the word of God, (John 8:31).
A true disciple is continually filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. Disciples realize that obeying everything Jesus commands is impossible without God. Matthew 28:19-20, is the great commission given to the disciples as instructions, not only to make disciples, but also to be a lifestyle for the true Disciples of Christ. We must be willing to live the life of a disciple even before we can go out and make disciples, and in order to accomplish this, we must be obedient to the commandments of Jesus Christ. There are three stages of discipleship that we will discuss which are a Declaration, which is the repentance, the development, which is the learning, and the deployment, which is the evangelic commissioning to go out and minister.
